Nnadi
also promised to make almost every Nigerian woman a member of the PDP,
saying “female presidency is achievable in Nigeria.”
The position of the PDP Woman Leader has been zoned to Imo State, where Nnadi hopes to slug it out with the former Minister of Aviation during the regime of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, Dr. Kema Chikwe.
Nnadi spoke with some officials of the Nigerian Union of Journalists in her Asokoro office on Monday in Abuja after returning her form to the PDP national secretariat.
She said, “My vision therefore is to see Nigerian women contributing positively in greater number towards the growth and development of Nigeria through the transformation agenda and thereby strategically locate them in their rightful position for nation building.
“I intend to produce more women in the legislative arm, at least 10 governors and deputy governors, 33 senators and 100 honourable members of the House of Representatives. I will ensure that one-third of the State Houses of Assembly across the country are women.”
