ROB BURROW feels like a proud dad watching the kids he coached break into Leeds’ first team.

But the Rhinos star admits it makes him feel very old – and small – playing with the club’s three new giant wonder babes.
Burrow coaches Leeds’ Under-16s and two years ago knew he had some budding stars on his hands.
But even Burrow says he is shocked at how quickly Liam Sutcliffe, Thomas Minns and Jordan ­Baldwinson have come on.

MICAH RICHARDS is set to hold talks with Manchester City over a new four-year contract, according to reports.

The England international, 24, struggled with ankle and knee injuries last season and played just eight Premier League games.
But he's now back fit and City are keen to nail him down for another four years.
Richards' current contract runs out in June 2015.
City and Richards' representatives plan to meet this week to thrash out terms on a new deal.
The FA Cup runners-up first raised the possibility of a new deal last month but the powerful defender has been on away on holiday.
Sergio Aguero, Gael Clichy and Yaya Toure have all recently agreed new contracts with the club.

NEWCASTLE boss Alan Pardew has vowed to win his power struggle with newly-appointed director of football Joe Kinnear.

The pair spoke for several hours in London yesterday, their first face-to-face meeting since it emerged Kinnear was returning to St James’ Park.
Talks are understood to have been cordial. But while Pardew accepts that Kinnear has been brought in above him, he feels strongly that, as team manager, his authority can’t be undermined any further.
He was seeking reassurances from Kinnear on several key issues, including transfer business, team strategy and who will be the public face of Newcastle.

US President Barack Obama is to use his public speech in Berlin to propose cuts of one-third in American and Russian nuclear arsenals, US officials say.
They say he will also call for reductions in the number of tactical warheads deployed in Europe.
He met Chancellor Angela Merkel, who criticised the broad scope of the US surveillance programme known as Prism.
Mr Obama's visit comes after G8 leaders backed calls for holding Syrian peace talks in Geneva "as soon as possible".

PDP Empowers Jonathan To Head Reconciliation Committee


The National Caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party yesterday empowered president Goodluck Jonathan to lead a reconciliation move to bring into the fold, aggrieved members of the party who had left.
This was according to Governor of Akwa Ibom state, Godswill Akpabio, while briefing State House correspondents after the meeting.
He noted that the suspension of his colleague, the Governor of Rivers State, Chibuike Rotim Amaechi was brought before the caucus, adding that  his recall by the party may have been stalled by the fact that his case is still in court.
The Akwa Ibom State governor said the focus of the group will be to ensure that the party’s unity is not compromised.
In addition to the presidential committee, another committee that will raise guidelines that will be submitted to the National Executive Committee to steer its deliberations was initiated by the caucus. The committee includes Governor Akpabio, representatives of the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT) and a host of others.
