Ayinde Soaga was almost lynched by some angry Yoruba actors last week Thursday, the 5th of December 2013, for allegedly trying to withhold half of the money given to them by the governor.
It was gathered that Gov. Amosun of Ogun state had hosted movie actors from the state to special dinner at the government house.
The event was graced by celebrities like veteran actor Olu Jacobs, Dele Odule, Ajala Jalingo and many others.
At the end of the party, the Governor was said to have instructed his aide, Soaga to give the actors N5million as his own contribution to the growth of the movie industry but Soago allegedly gave them only N2.5million which is half the money.
This angered the actors who started to react violently.
The heated argument was curtailed by the intervention of Dele Odule who begged the actors to remain calm.
However, this didn't solve the problem as the actors ended up leaving with only the N2.5million.
