The London Fire Brigade revealed it has been called out 79 times due to bedroom games going wrong.

Officer Dave Brown added: “Some of the incidents our firefighters are called out could be prevented with a little common sense.

London Fire Brigade officer Dave Brown
"I don’t know whether it’s the Fifty Shades effect, but the number of incidents involving items like handcuffs seems to have gone up.

The Brigade also revealed it has previously had to deal with a man who got his privates stuck in a toaster.
