Abuja - Rivers State Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi-led Nigeria Governors' Forum will today meet in Abuja to discuss a number of issues.
Included in the Forum's agenda are the questions of NGF's funds, report on Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC), Excess Crude Account (ECA).
The governors will also discuss issues relating to land allocation in Abuja as well as pending litigations. According to the Director General, Asishana Okauru, the governors are going to remember the late Governor Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna State, who died on December 15, 2012 in a helicopter crash. 
It is worth noting that the 8th NGF meeting will also be the first since Tuesday, November 26. On that day, the Chairman, Governor Amaechi, along with Governors Rabiu Kwakwanso of Kano, Murtala Nyako of Adamawa, Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto, and Abdulfattah Ahmed of Kwara States, left the crisis-ridden ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the opposition's All Progressives Congress (APC).
The NGF meeting, according to Director General Okauru, is to be held holds at the usual venue, Rivers State Governor's Lodge at 8 p.m.
"The Chairman of the NGF, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, has requested for a meeting of all members scheduled as follows: Date: Wednesday, 11th December 2013; Time: 8pm prompt," Okauru added.
