Nigeria up in World Rankings

Lagos - Nigeria have jumped three positions in the last Fifa World Rankings released earlier today,

The Super Eagles retain their third spot in Africa, but are up three places to 28th in the global rankings, surpassing the USA and Japan in the process.

There are no changes in the top 10 in the world rankings, with Spain, Germany and Argentina still leading the way.

1. Ivory Coast (12th)
2. Ghana (22nd)
3. Mali (26th)
4. Nigeria (28th)
5. Algeria (35th)
6. Tunisia (41st)
7. Zambia (46th)
8. Burkina Faso (50th)
9. South Africa (56th)
10. Equatorial Guinea (61st)
