A Political scientist, Isuwa Dogo Ph.D. has described the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as observing “the highest level of democratic practice”.
Dogo, who spoke as a guest on Channels Television’s morning show, Sunrise Daily, further said that “the PDP is only democratically set up party in Nigeria”.
Dogo, who was reacting to the rumoured resignation of the chairman of the ruling PDP, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, noted that the party is been witch-hunted by the opposition, who sell different false stories to destaibilise the PDP.
In his words “In the first place, those ideas are not from PDP, those ideas are planted by the opposition with the hope and belief it could be used to disorganize the party”.
He however said “it only makes the party stronger” maintaining that it is a display of “the beauty of PDP”.
