World No 1 Serena Williams reached her
first French Open final for over a decade after hammering last year's
runner-up Sara Errani in straight sets.
The 15-time Grand Slam champion, who won her only Roland Garros title in 2002, came through 6-0 6-1 in just 46 minutes to reach her 20th major final.
Williams will next face defending champion Maria Sharapova in Saturday's final at Roland Garros.
She started like a steam train bludgeoning her way to a 'bagel' opening set against the 5ft 4 1/2in Italian world No 5, hitting 18 winners in just 21 minutes of action.
