THE Wolfpack howls back into the action for the third and final time in The Hangover Part III.
The gang hit Vegas one last time in what promises to be their craziest adventure yet.
Stars
including Bradley Cooper were on the red carpet in London on Wednesday
night for the European premiere, and in true Wolfpack style they all
went on to party afterwards.
The
Hangover story started when Phil (Bradley, 38), Stu (Ed Helms, 39),
Doug (Justin Bartha, 34) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis, 43) went on the
mother of all stag dos in Las Vegas.
Second time round, the lads hit Bangkok and got caught up with mobsters.
So
surely after four years, two movies and more than £1billion at the
worldwide box office, they must have been treated like rock stars when
they returned to the Strip?
“You know, we really weren’t,” laughs hunky Bradley.
“I
have to say, there’s something wonderful about Vegas. It is
indifferent to anything other than what is going on there. I mean, we
were in the elevator in the first one with tiger scratches on our necks,
and no-one cared. And it’s not that different.”
The
plot this time sees teacher Phil and dentist Stu swap their uneventful
married home lives for a road trip to Sin City, staging an intervention
with Doug to get bonkers Alan into rehab.
What seems like a straightforward journey turns into an epic expedition.
John Goodman, 60, plays mysterious Marshall, fighting roosters and even a giraffe.
Bradley
says: “This movie was rugged, brutal and massive. We have parachutes
flying around Vegas at night, wild animals in places where they
shouldn’t be, lots of crazy things.”
Also back is Heather Graham, 43, playing big-hearted stripper Jade, who married Stu first time around.
“The
rest of the cast were like: ‘It was so much better with you,’” she
jokes about missing out on Hangover 2. “No, I guess I feel like I was
glad I was in the better one!’
Ironically, Heather never suffers from hangovers because she doesn’t drink.
“Well, I’m still wild,” she insists.
“My
friends and I talk about how we want to have great sex and to get the
best possible sex, and we’re all: ‘Let’s light candles for passion.’”
Fans will also be thrilled to hear deranged gangster Mr Chow (Ken Jeong, 43) plays a big part in this third instalment.
And he admits his wife encouraged him to strip off for the role.
Ken
laughs: “My wife insisted that I get naked. She said that would make
sure it was a feel-good hit in that it would make men feel good about
their penis size.
“But I don’t mind. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do on camera for the director Todd Phillips.
“Which you can tell from the fact I have done pretty much everything over the course of the three films.”
The cast are all now firm friends in real life.
Bradley explains: “I love these guys. There’s a fraternity about it – a family feeling.
“It’s
very easy to pretend Zach and Ed are my best friends because we’ve
gone through all this together for the past two movies.”
But fans of the blockbuster franchise will be gutted this is the last time the Wolfpack is in action.
Bradley
says: “The way it feels for us is everybody’s happy to be back, the
story’s exciting and it does feel like closure to the trilogy.
“Personally I was excited to come back to Vegas.
“I think it’s a great way to end it.
“You know, I’d love to work with them again but the franchise is done.”
So Bradley must surely have had a few Hangover-style wild nights to inspire him?
“Thank God no,” he laughs. “Anybody who has had should seek help.”
The Hangover is out now.
