Female Building and Interiors was founded by entrepreneur Philippa Tuttiett.
Her team of six are experts in plumbing, plastering, bricklaying and decorating.
Philippa, 29, said: “My father and grandfather were builders and I’ve been around the trade since I could walk. We’re banishing the stereotypes of big burly men looking to take you for a ride.”

Philippa, who was a regular builder on Channel 4’s The Renovation Game, added: “We have so many women and even men come directly to us because they want a trusted team who will give them impartial advice and a good service.
“Most of the girls have children and husbands to look after too, but we all love it and wouldn’t choose any other career.”
