Dickson Warns Politicians: Use Political Language Instead Of War Language

Bayelsa state governor, Seriake Dickson has called for fence mending, bridge-building and repairs of broken down bridges as the only way Bayelsans can better appreciate their progress and sustain the laid down democratic structures.
He said this in his Democracy Day address, where he sounded a note of caution to leaders who use language of war, instead of language of politics and persuasion which are critical to the peace, stability and progress that the state and nation needs.
Adding that as the nation celebrates 14 years of unbroken civilian rule, everyone should support Mr. President in his quest to build a new Nigeria “of our collective dreams and aspirations”.
