PLAYERS and fans will be able to complain directly to the FA about racist abuse next season with a new mobile phone app.

Kick It Out launched the free download yesterday and hope it will help the authorities clamp down on all forms of discrimination.

The app will be available on iPhone, android and blackberry phones from next season and anyone can make a complaint, even anonymously.

The launch comes after a survey of fans revealed that 93 per cent believe more should be done to tackle racism.

But 47 per cent still do not know how to report incidents at games.

Kick It Out spokesman Roisin Wood said: “Some people feel confident reporting such issues to a steward at a match but others do not.”

Players will have their own app to contact the PFA.
