There were indications on Tuesday that kidnapped family members of a Supreme Court Justice, Bode Rhodes-Vivour, had been released.
The apex court justice’s driver was also abducted.
The Media Assistant to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Mr. Ahuraka Isah, informed our correspondent on Tuesday evening that the Justice’s family members had been released.
Isah said they were released in Benin.
But he could not confirm whether a ransom was paid to secure their release.
“The wife and daughter of Justice Rhodes-Vivour have been released.
“They were released in Benin today, but I can’t tell if any ransom was paid,” the CJN’s aide said.
