Everton ready to battle Liverpool for Juventus hitman

EVERTON have joined the race to try and land Juventus star Alessandro Matri.
Juve ace Alessandro Matri
According to reports in Italy, The Toffees are ready to enquire about his availability, following the example set by their Merseyside rivals Liverpool last month.
Juventus have already snapped up Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez this summer, and look set to be welcoming offers for a player who could struggle to gain a starting place next season.
Juve are even said to have revealed the price they'd be willing to sell the 28-year-old to the Goodison Park outfit.

“Juventus star Alessandro Matri could be heading to the Premier League this summer”
Roberto Martinez has been busy so far this term, bring several players from old team Wigan, including AntolĂn Alcaraz and Arouna Kone.
Matri has netted 27 times in 69 competitive appearances for the Serie A giants.
It's thought the former Cagliari forward would cost Everton around £12m, while the player is thought to be keen on a potential move to the Premier League.
