Roberto Martinez won't sell Marouane Fellaini to Manchester United

MANCHESTER UNITED face a mighty battle to get Marouane Fellaini insists Everton boss Roberto Martinez.

Belgian, official, bids, There have been no official bids yet for the big Belgian
The Belgian ace is wanted by former chief David Moyes and would fancy a move to Old Trafford. But a clause allowing him to move for £23.5m expired at the start of this month, so Everton will now play hard ball in a bid to keep their star man on Merseyside.
Moyes, who signed Fellaini for £15m from Standard Liege in 2008, is desperate to bag him again after failing to lure Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona.
United have yet to make an official bid, but the player's advisors are fully aware of their interest and want to strike a deal.

“United have yet to make an official bid, but the player's advisors are fully aware of their interest and want to strike a deal”
Everton boss Martinez thinks he can get him to stay at Goodison Park, though.
He said: "I said from day one, as a manager you only concentrate on day to day and working hard.
"I don't mind players grabbing headlines. That's a good story. That means they've been doing well and are outstanding performers.
"I know that Marouane and Leighton Baines have been working very hard for the team. And that is all that matters.
"There has been no bid."

Fellaini struggled with the intense Miami humidity along with the rest of his Everton pals after they crashed to a 1-0 defeat against Valenica in the final game of their US tour.

Chelsea and Liverpool reject Barcelona bids for David Luiz and Daniel Agger

CHELSEA and Liverpool have turned down bids from Barcelona for star centre-backs David Luiz and Daniel Agger.

The Spanish giants bid £15m for Agger and around £35m for Luiz yesterday after they missed out on PSG ace Thiago Silva.
But both clubs have rejected the offers put on the table.
Signing a central defender is a priority for Barca and they are expected to re-emerge with improved bids.

Chelsea can offer Luiz Champions League football but Liverpool have less of a hold on Agger.
The Reds finished seventh last season - meaning they missed out on the Europa League - and the 28-year-old Denmark international is keen on playing at the top level as he nears the peak of his career.
However, he will not follow in the foot-steps of Luis Suarez and push for a move away from Anfield.

Legend King, now a club ambassador, can't wait.
He said: "I think the club deserves it and I think the fans deserves it - we've got a huge fan-base.
"We've moved to the new training facilities and the next step is the stadium.

EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal prepare record £51m offer for Luis Suarez

ARSENAL are set to smash the English transfer record by offering up to £51m for Luis Suarez.

Luis Suarez, Liverpool, Arsenal, cropSuarez was ordered to train away from the first-team following his public outburst
Liverpool yesterday took a hardline approach with the Uruguay hitman, ordering him to train away from the first team.
They are furious at Suarez for his public outburst, where he claimed the Anfield side had broken their word - and breached his contract - by not letting him go.
He insisted Liverpool agreed to let him leave if they did not reach the Champions League and a bid over £40m came in.
Suarez also said he would take his case to the Premier League after the Gunners bid £40m plus a pound a fortnight ago, having initially offered £35m. But Starsport understands the Gunners are prepared to pay more than the £50m Liverpool received from Chelsea for Fernando Torres in January 2011.
Boss Arsene Wenger is well aware a wrangle over the wording of the contract is sure to involve lawyers and could run on for months - ensuring they do not get their man in this transfer window, which closes on September 2. Yesterday Wenger admitted the club's pursuit of Suarez was on hold.
"At the moment the situation is on standby," he said.
"I really don't know what will be decided by Liverpool, that's for sure."

“He [Suarez] believes the £40m amount that is mentioned, if that is offered, gives him the right to go”
PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor
PFA chief executive Gordon Taylor, who is liaising between Suarez and Liverpool, revealed that if the issue was taken to the Premier League, the forward could remain on Merseyside.
He said: "These buy-out clauses have caused no end of problems in the past and continue to do so.
"He believes the £40m amount that is mentioned, if that is offered, gives him the right to go.
"Liverpool are saying that is a minimum figure from which they will consider negotiation and of course they will want to keep the player, unless they replace the player with someone as good or better, which is not going to be easy in a short period of time.
"There are different ways it can be interpreted. If it goes to the Premier League, it will take time and the window is then closed. It is a delicate situation."
Liverpool are fighting to hang on to defender Daniel Agger after apparently receiving a £15m bid from Barcelona.

Manchester United suffer Cesc Fabregas snub

CESC FABREGAS has made his feeling clear over Manchester United's bid to bring him back to the Premier League.

Spanish international star Cesc Fabregas
The 26-year-old has come out insisting he is "very happy" at Barcelona, and isn't looking to leave Spain this summer.
David Moyes' side had two bids for the former Arsenal man rejected by Barcelona earlier this summer, while Barca's sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta declared at the start of the week that United had given up on trying to sign the Spain international.
Speaking in a press conference today, the midfielder said: "Triumphing in Barcelona is what I have been hoping for all my life, it's been my dream since I was a child.
"I am very happy at Barcelona and I haven't spoken to any other club in the last two years."

Fabregas also defended himself over not making his feelings clear earlier during the height of the speculation.
"I've been relaxed about it the whole time, I didn't have to clarify anything because the only thing I was thinking about was staying at Barca," he said.
"As I haven't deceived anyone or hidden anything, I told the club's press department that I would speak when it was my turn to speak to the press."
"Stories have been invented, I don't know why speculation grew even after Tito (Vilanova, former Barca coach), Zubizarreta, Tata (Gerardo Martino, new Barca coach) and (Barca vice-president Josep) Bartomeu all said they wanted me to stay.
"I was never given any sign from the club to make me think they didn't want me, I have always felt wanted here. I spoke to Bartomeu, the president (Sandro Rosell) in person and Tata also told me he wanted me to stay and there's been no problem."
"What I have to do is do everything better because I'm at the biggest and most demanding club in the world."

Stephen Fry demands Winter Olympics boycott over Russian anti-gay laws

STEPHEN Fry has written to the Prime Minister demanding that the UK strip Russia of staging the Winter Olympics to make a stand against their anti-gay laws.

The Winter Olympics are set to take place in 2014, but Stephen Fry said they should be hosted in another country, comparing the persecution of gays in Russia to the treatment of Jewish people at the hands of Nazis.
Claiming that Russian police "ignore" beatings, murders and humiliations of gay people, Fry said: "An absolute ban on the Russian Winter Olympics of 2014 on Sochi is simply essential.
"Stage them elsewhere in Utah, Lillyhammer, anywhere you like.
"At all costs Putin cannot be seen to have the approval of the civilised world."
The letter, which is addressed to David Cameron, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Lord Coe, saw Fry praise the PM, despite his dislike for Tories.

He added: "I especially appeal to you, Prime Minister, a man for whom I have the utmost respect.
"As the leader of a party I have for almost all of my life opposed and instinctively disliked, you showed a determined, passionate and clearly honest commitment to LGBT rights and helped push gay marriage through both houses of our parliament in the teeth of vehement opposition from so many of your own side.
"For that I will always admire you, whatever other differences may lie between us. In the end I believe you know when a thing is wrong or right.
"Please act on that instinct now."
The IOC recently said that it had received assurances from the Russian government that their laws will not affect athletes taking part in the Games.

Big Brother gun raid ordeal

DEXTER KOH revealed he had a gun pointed at his head during a dramatic armed robbery.

Dexter, BB, flirty, sex, big brother, gun, attackDexter Koh has suffered anxiety attacks since his ordeal
The 28-year-old said he still suffered nightmares after thugs threatened to shoot him during a raid on holiday.
Dexter confessed everything to his housemates as he tried to explain his “strange and guarded” behaviour in the house.
He admitted that the incident, which happened in Portugal, left him “freaked out” and crippled by anxiety attacks.
Reliving the attack he explained: “Some guy got in the car. He had a gun and put it against my head.
“Because I was wearing a suit, they thought I was the one with the money.
“There’s nothing like having a gun in your face though to give you nightmares.
“I was freaked out, my mates saved me.”
As the rest of the house listened in shock, Dexter went on to admit it had a huge impact on him.
He added: “I was having anxiety attacks a few months ago when all that stuff came out. I remember being at an interview and I couldn’t speak, I was getting agoraphobia.

“I was starting to get OCD. I turned my phone off because I was frightened of it ringing.”
Dexter has divided opinion since being in the spy house and he has admitted he knows his odd behaviour drives people mad.
The wannabe also confessed that even his friends do not really know him.
He said: “I do have the ability to make people want to carve their own face off.
“I’m very honest with myself and I’m real.
“People don’t know my background. Even my friends don’t know the real me.”
The self-styled PR guru says he now has to “keep people guessing” over his fortune so he does not become a target.
Dexter, who claims he once blew over £100,000 in a London nightclub, said: “Before this, I kept myself to myself. I like bling and nice clothes, but I like to keep people guessing. You can’t trust anyone these days.
“Everyone is always out to get someone if they have something better than them.

Tulisa hippy crack drug shock

POP star Tulisa faced fresh trauma last night after being caught up in a storm over deadly hippy crack.

Tulisa, drugs, Ibiza, hippy, crack, Chelsey HealyTulisa looked sexy in a crop top and leather skirt (WENN)
The pop babe had been partying in a club to celebrate actress Chelsee Healey’s 25th birthday.
But as the group left the night spot, clubbers on the street outside appeared to be gorging on the dangerous legal high.
Many were breathing from balloons filled with the dangerous laughing gas, dubbed hippy crack.
Shocked N-Dubz star Tulisa was bundled into a taxi as she ended her night, leaving Chelsee and other pals behind.
More and more people are trying hippy crack, real name nitrous oxide, even though it can cause hallucinations, brain damage or even death.
Although the effects of the high last for only a few minutes, users say the sensation is similar to a hit of heroin or crack cocaine.
There is absolutely no suggestion that either Tulisa, 25, or Chelsee took the substance, which is legal.
And as the former X Factor judge left in a taxi after a night on the booze, other clubbers emerged and decided to carry on the party outside.
Pictures have emerged of canisters scattered across the floor.

“Tulisa only went to the club last night and then went home.”

And a mystery man was pictured outside the club clutching a suspicious-looking blue balloon.
A source said yesterday: “Some of the partygoers stumbled across this guy in jeans who was blowing up the gas from the balloons.
“Chelsee and some others were crowding round him. Tulisa left sharpish.”
Tulisa and Chelsee dined at trendy Gilgamesh restaurant in Camden before hitting the dancefloor at London’s DSTRKT nightclub with mates.
X Factor’s Marcus Collins, 25, and TOWIE stars Joey Essex, 23, and James Diags, 20, joined the knees-up.
A spokesman for the singer said: “Tulisa only went to the club last night and then went home.
“If this happened elsewhere last night she is not aware of it and not involved.”
A spokesman for Chelsee Healey refused to comment.
