BIG Brother bosses are preparing to welcome a new batch of contestants into the TV house.
But if this year’s wannabes are hoping for a summer of fun, they are in for a big shock.
Channel 5 chiefs say the show’s theme will be “Secrets and Lies” – and housemates must “expect the unexpected”.
Instead of living in luxury, they will have to get by in an eco-house and will be forced to grow most of their own food.
A Big Brother spokesman said: “It’s all about self-sufficiency and recycling.
"Although impressive in appearance, this house is not a hotel and provides a tougher environment than ever before.”
A show insider said: “This won’t be a walk in the park – they should expect a summer of hell.”
This year’s show will be hosted by Emma Willis, 37, with Celebrity Big Brother winner Rylan Clark, 24.

AJ Odudu, 20, will be fronting the Big Brother spin-off show Bit On The Side.
And the show’s fans will be happy to hear that there will be a nightly dose of live action on 5*.
Big Brother kicks off on Channel 5 next month.
