Contrary to speculations that the
acting Comptroller -General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)
Alhaji Rilwan Musa, would be confirmed as substantive successor to the
former immediate NIS boss, Rosemary Uzoma, the federal government
yesterday shocked Nigerians when it announced Mr. David Paradang as
successor to Uzoma.
We
have gathered that Paradang, an assistant comptroller of NIS until his
appointment,was in charge of state coordination at Immigration
headquarter. Abuja. Paradang hails from Plateau state.
Alhaji Musa came to power after Uzoma who was put on retirement leave. also seven senior officers will be asked to vacate their current positions from the Deputy Controller General of Immigration and everyone from the Assistant Comptroller General of Immigration (ACGs)
Paradang will be sworn in this morning and be decorated by tomorrow by early as 9:00 am
