THE Prime Minister is under fire for sunning himself on holiday so soon after the Woolwich terrorist attack.

David Cameron and his wife Samantha have jetted off with the children for a holiday in Ibiza.

But it isn’t the first time his holidays have attracted criticism.

We ask psychologist Donna Dawson to look at the holiday snaps and explain what the couple’s choices of destination say about them.

CORNWALL, 2010

First holiday after becoming PM. Samantha gave birth to Florence.

Donna says: “This is a pretty classless destination and David was desperate to show his solidarity with the people at the height of the recession. But while Samantha is full of joy in a yellow dress he’s sporting a Mona Lisa, tight-lipped smile, showing he’s daunted by the tasks ahead.”

IBIZA, 2011

She dazzles in a fl oral number but David’s wearing a tired polo shirt.

Donna says: “Despite another lacklustre outfit David looks more in his stride, able almost to relax. Ibiza is chosen both to appear hip thanks to its reputation for clubbing, but upmarket as it’s a destination for cool, sophisticated types.”

TUSCANY, ITALY, 2011

Memorable for David returning to a cafe after he forgot to tip a waitress.

Donna says: “Sophisticated Tuscany is more his cup of tea – or coffee. This is his natural holiday destination, you imagine, and the couple are all smiles. The fact that he forgot to tip also smacks of posh – the upper classes are often quite stingy. Even his blue shirt seems brighter!”

MALLORCA, 2012

The couple are seen in downbeat matching blue outfits – with David wearing what appear to be his Downing Street work shoes.

Donna says: “Perhaps aware that the economy is still in difficulty, he seems to be taking a frugal, thoughtful approach. He looks careworn and worried.”

IBIZA, 2013

David and Samantha sun themselves in a paradise location shortly after the Woolwich attack in which soldier Lee Rigby was killed.

Donna says: “The message is, ‘I’ve left things at home in capable hands but the truth is I need a break.’ He’s not showing any guilt at taking a holiday.”
