LUKAS PODOLSKI has begged Borussia Dorrtmund striker Robert Lewandowski to turn down Europe's big boys to sign for Arsenal.

Lewandowski, 24, is wanted by Bayern Munich but Dortmund chiefs put a stop to the deal.
Real Madrid want the Polish international too while Manchester United and Chelsea have also shown real interest in snapping him up.
And now Arsenal, with their big £70m transfer kitty, could come to the party.
German international Podolski is a big fan of Lewandowski and would love to see him arrive at the Emirates.

Podolski told Polish newspaper Polska The Times: "He would fit ideally into our team."
Arsenal are casting their eye over potential frontmen and have been linked heavily with Real Madrid ace Gonzalo Higuain.
But for the same price, around the £25m, they could swoop for Lewandowski.
