Plateau Killings: STF, Police Differ on Death TollPlateau State Police Command and the Special Task Force (STF) maintaining peace in the state have differed over the actual figure of those that died in the Thursday killings in Langtang South Local Government Area of the state.
While the STF placed the death figure at 28, the police said it was only 10.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Chris Olakpe had said it was 10 persons that were killed in the clash between the Fulani nomad and the peasant farmers in Bolgan, Karkashi and Magama villages, and not 32 as reported by a section of the media.
