Joey Essex is living proof that the stars of the show survive on basic rations and minimal calories.
Despite heroically winning stars for his crew on numerous occasions, and eating bizarre meat cuts, the veneers-flashing TOWIE heartthrob appears to have drastically lost weight.
Posing in his hotel bed, the 23-year-old took a skeletal selfie which highlighted the definition of his stomach muscles, as well as his jutting cheekbones, and boney shoulders.
Alongside the intimate snap, Joey didn't register his slender silhouette, instead focusing on the designer labels around him.
He wrote: "Getting out of bed now. Australia Versace right about now #Versace."
However, Instagram fans were shocked by the appearance of their abs fab hunk shrinking.
One wrote: "VERY VERY BAD PIC @joeyessex90 YOU LOOK LIKE YOUR DYING. Take it off."
While another stated: "You look old Joey", and a third added: "he looks so ill and not to sound horrible but it doesn't look like him at all, this is his worst picture."
It's no wonder the former Mr Faiers looks petite, telling Digital Spy: "I lost just under a stone and a half, but I've been eating ever since I left the jungle.
"I had three meals before I got to the hotel! I had a full English breakfast, a bacon and egg sandwich, and a curry. It was reem."
And food has certainly been on his mind, as he tweeted: "McDonald's is loving it right now from me. Anyone ever tried apple pie, and get a McFlurry and scoop it on top of the apple pie? #WOW.
"Craving 'sticky toffee pudding with custard ' for a month now. Have it ready for me please @tompearce1 @JamesBennewith @RealJamesArgent ?"
Joey also shared a snap of an indulgent carb-fest with Amy Willerton, surrounded by pizza and chips.
We're not sure if the beauty queen actually took a bite though...
