NEW Stoke boss Mark Hughes is struggling to find any takers for flop midfielder Wilson Palacios.

Hughes is keen to move Palacios, 29 next month, out after learning the Honduras international is eating up a whopping £26,000 a week of the Potters’ wage bill.
Palacios was signed from Spurs 2011 for £6million in 2011 but failed to start a league game last season.
And with a doubt over a knee injury, rival teams are unwilling to gamble on a player with such a big wage. Hughes is unlikely to involve Palacios in the Potters’ three-match tour of the United States next month.
Stoke went to the States under former boss Tony Pulis last year and will return to face Houston Dynamo on July 24, FC Dallas (July 27) and Philadelphia Union (July 30).
