MANCHESTER City’s new boss Manuel Pellegrini could return to Spain to land Valencia goalkeeper Diego Alves for £6million.

City are determined to keep No.1 choice stopper Joe Hart on his toes.
Hart’s understudy for the past two seasons, Costel Pantilimon, has never played a Premier League game.
And City are now anxious to bring in a more established keeper.
Alves’ contract runs out next summer and he has been tracked by Everton in the past.
But Pellegrini knows the Brazil international well from his managerial stints at Villarreal, Real Madrid and Malaga.
