STEVE BRUCE wants to raid his old foes Manchester City and throw goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon a lifeline with Hull.

Pantilimon, 26, signed almost two years ago, has spent his City career as Joe Hart's understudy and has never played in the Premier League.
His 11 City games have been in the cup competitions but he was left bitterly disappointed when he was dropped for the FA Cup Final against Wigan after being promised a start by former boss Roberto Mancini.
There is talk of a move to Italy for the 6ft 8ins Romanian, with strong interest from Fiorentina.
But Hull boss Bruce would love to take Pantilimon off City's hands for around £5million.
