PAUL LAMBERT TO OFFER SURVIVIAL STARLETS NEW DEALS

ABOVE: Lambert pushed his youthful squad to the limits last season

ASHLEY WESTWOOD and Ciaran Clark are set to get their rewards for helping Aston Villa avoid relegation.

Both are close to putting pen to paper on bumper new four-year deals.
Centre-back Clark, 23, had 12 months of his deal to run and delayed talks until Villa were safe.
Westwood, 23, a £2m signing from Crewe just 12 months ago, has been one of Villa’s stand-out stars.
Boss Paul Lambert has already signed up Nathan Baker, Andreas Weimann and Brad Guzan.
Christian Benteke, who slapped in a transfer request this week, has been told he can leave if a club meets his £25m price tag.
