Rio stadium in spotlight

Iconic Maracana will host friendly game between Brazil and England despite safety concerns.

Brazil will host England in a friendly match in Rio de Janeiro’s world-famous Maracana stadium, despite safety concerns.
The historic stadium had been closed for more than two years to undergo a costly renovation, estimated at $430m.
A court order last week suspended the game, saying that Maracana was not ready.
But a judge later revoked the suspension, clearing the game to go ahead.
Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo reports from Rio de Janeiro.
